When we finally had all the microphone quirks worked out, I began AGAIN recording the audio for Out-of-Work to Making Money.  The repeated readings had improved my performance substantially.  Some chapters were better than others.  I think the Joan Rivers one may be my best.  Not sure why, I just got more caught up in the story.

There were some benefits to my reading and rereading and rereading the book.  I realized that the questions in the Q & A chapters were stilted.  It made sense, most of those ‘interviews’ were via email exchanges, not conversation.  So I did a lot of asking questions like, “Did you ever consider changing careers?  Why or why not?”  No one SAYS ‘why or why not?’ when they are talking. It was a valid prompt in an email, to try and elicit very complete responses.  So I edited those down for the audiobook and I will make the same edits to the next printing and the Kindle version.

And now…. it’s all over but the waiting.  We have hit publish AND eagerly await ACX giving us the green light and you being able to purchase it!!
